They run on the large side. Sport Gray slightly darker than ash tees and sweats with the Delaware and Hudson locomotives that once roamed the Northeast. These elegant diesels were originally Santa Fe and pulled the famous Chief fleet from Chicago to Texas and California.

They pulled passenger trains for many years before being sold to the National Railways of Mexico. Two of the four have been returned to the United States and one of them is nearly restored to still another color scheme, Nickel Plate, thanks to Doyle McCormack of Daylight fame. The other hulk is still in Oregon and could someday go to the Smithsonian.
